Senior Project EngineerAnantha has been working as a Senior Project Engineer at CDD India, Bangalore, since 2021. He is an environmental engineer with a primary focus on wastewater and faecal sludge management. Anantha specializes in designing and implementing sustainable solutions for wastewater and faecal sludge treatment with an aim to promote reuse. With 8 years of hands-on experience, he possesses expertise in both conventional and nature-based wastewater technologies. His proficiency in wastewater and sludge management has enabled him to develop innovative solutions for handling and effectively reusing treated by-products at various scales.

Associate Project ManagerCurrently APM at CDD, am a water policy and governance professional having experience working both in the rural and urban contexts in multiple states and geographic terrains in India. Have explored different aspects of the water sector including water security in rural areas, water quality, WASH in flood-prone terrains, recurring water-related disasters, community-managed water resources and FSSM.
For leisure, I like to go on hikes and nature trails, especially birding trips. When too lazy for that, will be found at home with a book or down an internet rabbit hole, but will rarely be found on any social networking sites

Senior Project EngineerIrfan is currently employed as a Senior Project Engineer at CDD India. Before rejoining CDD in December 2022, he held the position of Senior Research Associate and State Co-Team Lead for Urban Rural Convergence in FSM (Faecal Sludge Management) and PWM (Plastic waste management ) for the state of Odisha, an initiative under the Scaling City Institutions for India (SCI-FI) at the Centre for Policy Research (CPR).
