BORDA is a specialist organization active in the fields of poverty alleviation, sustainable protection of natural resources and the strengthening of social structures. Since 2001, BORDA has concentrated on development-oriented cooperation projects and services in the field of Basic Needs Services (BNS). These projects, operating within the context of social-structure reform, are geared towards the development and dissemination of sustainable, decentralised service models with the intent of improving the supply of Basic Needs Services.
CDD Society is a not-for-profit organisation, working since 2002 to promote and improve social, economic and environmental conditions of disadvantaged and marginalised in South Asia through the provision of Decentralised Basic Needs Services (DBNS). The technical support for these basic needs services is provided in the areas of conceptualisation, designing, quality-control, certification, optimisation and dissemination of decentralised wastewater treatment technologies as well as providing training and building capacities of individuals and organisations. Our services help to protect and conserve the environment, reduce pollution and promote services that change the perception and behaviour towards a cleaner environment in urban areas. We work through a network of 20 partners across India and support partners in Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan in the South Asian region.

The EcoPro team wants to contribute to an ecologically sound management of natural resources, primarily of water and soil. We promote an integrated management of liquid and solid "wastes", eco-friendly approaches in environmental hygiene and sanitation, and sustainable methods and technologies in food production. This is our contribution to environmental health and public hygiene.
Biome Environmental Solutions is a private consulting firm based in Bangalore. The team specialises in a number of sustainable water services, including rainwater harvesting (RWH), Ecological Sanitation (EcoSan) and comprehensive water management planning. Biome works to bring ecological thinking to land-use planning. Given this background information, the project is in the process of identifying more partners to represent experts from fields like agriculture, nutrition, health and marketing who can help in promoting Nexus project’s vision of implementing and scaling-up wastewater reuse for agricultural production, tackling the challenge of under-nourishment, food insecurity and improving the sanitation and hygiene situation in peri-urban areas.
RLHP is a Non-Governmental Organization based in Mysore. It is committed to empower people for building healthy communities, ensuring good sanitation and a healthy environment and has been associated with BORDA since 2001. In the proposed project, it will be responsible for all social components of the project.
