Sasanka has earned his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad and MSc. from the University of Cincinnati, USA. After his studies in the States, Sasanka worked with General Motors for 8 years followed by his return to India. He has been working in sanitation and food production sector for the last 6 years. CDD Society and BORDA are welcoming our new friend and wishing him all the best in taking the organisation to new heights.

In-house training on Nexus concepts - Ecological linking of Sanitation, Agriculture and Nutrition

It was conducted for the staff from 4th-6th August 2015 at CASS, Bangalore. The objective of the training was three-fold:

  • To develop conceptual clarity on the concepts of hygiene and organic farming;
  • To understand the global scenario of farming and insights into different farming methods;
  • To understand the underlying concept of nutrition and global and Indian scenario with respect to malnutrition.


CDD Society provides Faecal Sludge Management Solutions in 4 towns, under the Third Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Project, Nepal

The Third Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Project (3STWSSSP) funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) supports the Government of Nepal in providing water supply and sanitation services to selected small towns in Nepal. Technical assistance (TA) was initiated by the ADB to provide Faecal Sludge Management Solutions for first batch towns under the Third Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Project with the intention of evolving appropriate solutions.
